Mr Ong Teck Soon

Mr Ong Teck Soon is Chief Executive Officer of SESAMi (Singapore) Pte Ltd and concurrently CEO for Abecha Pte Ltd. In Dec 2002, while he was one of the senior Director of SESAMi, he led the Management buyout and bought over the entire company from its former group of shareholders including SingTel, UOB, Jardine, iCable, Swire Pacific, etc and turn the company around within a year.

In Jul 2004, he led another initiative to acquire Abecha Pte Ltd which was a JV between JTC Corp, SESAMi and Microsoft Singapore.  Today, Abecha Pte Ltd not only it is profitable, it is also listed as one of the top 500 SMEs in Singapore for year 2006 in terms of profit and revenue growth.


Prior joining SESAMi, he was with ICI Plc and held several positions including Regional Marketing Manager at National Starch & Chemical (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Chief Representative of ICI in Vietnam, Managing Director of Myanmar ICI, and Regional Training & Development Manager for ICI Asia Pacific Region.


He began his career as a commissioned officer in the Singapore Armed Forces where he was a combat officer holding several positions including unit command to staff positions at the Ministry of Defence. He is currently holding the rank of LTC in national service and is a Commanding Office of an Infantry unit.


Ms Lim Paw Chern

Ms Lim Paw Chern is Senior Vice President of SESAMi (Singapore) Pte Ltd. As Senior Vice President for Technology & Operation, Paw Chern heads the Technical and Infrastructure Operation Team to provide pre-sales, post-sales activities and projects implementations. She also oversees the day to day company Business functions which includes Customer care, Business Centres, eBusiness Applications operation, eAuction operation, Billing and Collections.

Paw Chern has some 16 years of experience in the IT industry. Her experience was gained from working in systems development and project management that also included business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), in particular, the customs and trade related applications. She was a key member of the team that implemented the TradeNet System for the Republic of Mauritius.
